Meet Wesley Heaton, co-founder and engineer at Holy Ground, and a true legend in the Indianapolis music scene. With over 20 years of experience, Wes has recorded, mixed, and mastered tracks for renowned thrash and sludge metal bands like Demiricous and Drude. He has also engineered live sound for countless local, regional, and national acts at venues and festivals across the city.
Wes’s impressive resume includes touring as the front of house engineer for the legendary thrash metal band Skeletonwitch and his work has been featured on major platforms like KEXP, Decibel Magazine and Metal Suck.
If you’re involved in music in Indianapolis, you’ve probably crossed paths with Wes. When he’s not in the studio, you can find him behind the board at Old National Centre, one of the largest venues in the city.

Meet Kamaron Lockwood, co-founder and engineer at Holy Ground, renowned for his exceptional skill and studio work in the Indianapolis music scene, most recently tracking Flesher, Bingo Boys, Wet Denim, Ritual, and Milquetoast among others.
As a co-owner of Black Circle Audio, Kam specializes in live sound engineering for venues and festivals across Indiana. He’s also the drummer for Ancient Days and Cacteye, and works with top-tier acts behind the board at the Old National Centre.
Kam’s extensive recording experience combined with his live sound and musician expertise translates seamlessly into the studio environment, always delivering the highest quality recordings. His tireless work ethic and passion for music make him a standout pro in Indianapolis music.
